West Ouachita plays Bastrop
The West Ouachita Chiefs (16-13, 9-3 District 3-4A) will be back on the baseball field to close out the regular season this week against the Bastrop Rams (11-17, 5-7). The series begins on Friday at 6 p.m. at Bastrop and will conclude with a Saturday doubleheader at 1 p.m. in Cadeville.
The Chiefs have won six of their last nine outings and are coming off an impressive three-game sweep of the Franklin Parish Patriots last weekend.
The Chiefs downed the Patriots 17-0 in the opening game and set the tone for a series that closed with wins of 19-7 and 6-1 over the Patriots.
