Crusaders continue series with Epps
The Claiborne Christian School Crusaders are back on the baseball field today at 3:30 p.m. when they host Epps High School in a key District 2-C contest.
CCS downed Epps 23-1 in their previous district meeting last week in a five-inning affair.
CCS led 9-0 at the end of the first inning and put their starters on the bench for an early exit.
Head coach Chad Olinde is not concerned that the string of recent lopsided wins by CCS will have his starters getting complacent in the coming days.
