Sobriety checkpoint scheduled for Friday night
Louisiana State Police Troop F Troopers and the West Monroe Police Department will team up with additional law enforcement agencies to conduct a sobriety checkpoint this weekend.
On Friday, April 8, a sobriety checkpoint will be conducted in the West Monroe city limits from about 6 p.m.-midnight.
Agencies participating in the checkpoint include: West Monroe, Monroe, Bastrop and Grambling City Police Departments; Morehouse and Union Parish Sheriff's Departments; and the Louisiana State Police.
If you see a suspected drunk driver, contact your local police or sheriff's department, or call the Louisiana State Police hotline: *LSP (*577)
Officers will also monitor drivers and passengers for seat belt use. Anyone caught not wearing a seat belt or properly restraining children will be ticketed. |
