Woman charged in fatal wreck
More charges possible in Tuesday collision that left motorcyclist dead
A West Monroe man was killed Tuesday when his motorcycle collided with a car on Arkansas Road.
The motorcyclist, identified as 29-year-old Mitchell D. Watson of West Monroe, was pronounced dead at the scene by the Ouachita Parish Coroner's Office.
According to West Monroe Police, the accident occurred on Arkansas Road shortly after 7 p.m.
West Monroe police spokesman Cpl. Jade Gabb, said a 1999 Jeep Cherokee was traveling west on Arkansas Road when the driver made a left turn onto Jersey Street. The driver turned into the oncoming path of an eastbound 2005 Honda motorcycle.
