Local softball playoff hopes alive
Some of the best high school softball is played right here in Ouachita Parish.
When looking at power points and state rankings, it is evident that the area will be well represented in several classifications when the Louisiana High School Athletic Association begins the march toward the Fast Pitch 56 tournament in Sulphur next month.
In Class C, the Claiborne Christian School Lady Crusaders (8-7-1) are the third-ranked team in the latest softball power rankings.
