Robins to head technical college in interim Louisiana Delta Community College chancellor Luke Robins was selected this week to serve as interim regional director of the Northeast Louisiana Technical College.
Robins will continue to serve as chancellor of Louisiana Delta Community College until a director for Northeast Louisiana Technical College is selected.
On Monday, during the executive committee meeting of the Louisiana Community and Technical College System's Board of Supervisors, Robins was selected to fill the vacancy left by NELTC regional director Norene Smith, who will officially retire as director on March 31. Smith announced her retirement in February. Her career in technical education spans 40 years.
