Norma Lee Swazey Peacock Norma Lee Swazey Peacock, age 84, entered into glory on March 23, 2011. She is survived by four children, Milton Dale Peacock (wife, Jackie), Tim Peacock (wife, Patti), Margaret Peacock, Mary Guess (husband, Jonathan); 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Dr. Milton O. Peacock; her parents, T.Milton and Beatrice Coon Swazey; one brother, Marion Dale Swazey and one sister, Beth Swazey Williams. Norma was born on Oct. 27, 1926, in Jena, Louisiana. At age 19, she graduated with honors from Louisiana Tech University in 1946 with a degree in medical technology. Norma was a member of Watson Church. She had a love for flowers and landscaping which never faded. Her beloved home, Mandalay, displayed her love of beauty and order. Her arrangements of flowers for worship services were always God-honoring. Norma had a cheerful disposition with an indefatigable work ethic. For over 50 years, she faithfully supported and tended to the needs of her crippled husband, Dr. Peacock. Norma deeply loved and diligently served both her Lord, her family and her many friends. Her family mourn their deep loss but rejoice with this precious saint's entry into glory. Interment occurred in a private grave site ceremony at the Peacock family cemetery.
