Camp Quality telethon Saturday
Camp Quality of Louisiana will host its major fundraiser Saturday, April 2, to help support the organization's ongoing efforts to assist children with cancer and their families.
The event will be held from 10 a.m.-10 p.m. at the West Monroe Convention Center. The event will be broadcasted on Channel 6 on Comcast cable television for the entire 12 hours, while KTVE-10 will broadcast the fundraiser from noon to 5 p.m.
Brad Bourgeois with Camp Quality of Louisiana encouraged the public to attend the event in person or watch it on television as this year's event features some of the area's best talent.
"The telethon has been well-received and embraced by the community," Bourgeois said. "This year, we'll have a lot of talent for some fun and fundraising."
