Dianne Cage: Spring Market tops list of favorite things Oh my goodness! Do you just love all the Dogwoods, pink and white; the Wisteria; Red Bud Trees; and Carolina Jasmine. Welcome to Spring! I do truly think Spring is my very favorite season. Be sure and take time to ride around and enjoy many of God's gifts. The Garden District is especially pretty. There is a glorious Crab Apple Tree on the corner of Rochelle and North Seventh and on Rochelle and Fifth a magnificent gathering of White Dogwoods. LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT! Another pretty drive is down Riverside, around Park Avenue, winding to Pargoud Boulevard. Between North Second and Third Street on Arkansas, the most beautiful white Dogwood of all, do not miss!
********** Years ago my good friend JIMMY BROWN from Oak Ridge, Brother of NANCY KAY PETERS, Father of JIM BROWN and Grandfather of CLARK KING BROWN, told me a little story. "Now, Dianne, there are good Kings and there are bad Kings! DUKE SHACKELFORD is a good King!" .....For the full story, subscribe to the The Ouachita Citizen's NEW E-Edition! |
