Chiefs, Wildcats continue 3-4A baseball tilt
The West Ouachita Chiefs (5-9) will begin District 3-4A play this Saturday with a 2 p.m. double-header against the Wossman Wildcats.
The Chiefs are coming off three consecutive losses in the Hahnville Classic last weekend.
Hahnville beat the Chiefs, 6-4. Jesuit defeated West Ouachita 13-0 and Holy Cross slipped past the Chiefs, 6-3.
While WOHS fans may be discouraged by the team's lack of wins in recent weeks — the Chiefs have lost five of their last seven overall — the team has rarely played teams in their own classification.
