Softball teams eye playoffs
District championship races on the softball diamond are starting to take shape around Ouachita Parish.
In Class C, the Claiborne Christian Lady Crusaders will attempt to wrap up another District 2-C championship when they host Kilbourne High School Friday at 4 p.m.
CCS (7-6-1, 3-0) defeated Epps, 3-1, on Monday and will attempt to go for the sweep and the district crown Friday.
