Alexander presses Energy about Next Autoworks loan U.S. Rep. Rodney Alexander leaned on the secretary of the U.S. Department of Energy Tuesday to move on a $321-million loan application for Next Autoworks.
Alexander, R-Quitman, discussed the application with Secretary of Energy Steven Chu at a hearing of the Energy and Water Subcommittee of the House Appropriations Committee.
Alexander's office issued a news release Tuesday morning outlining Alexander's remarks at the subcommittee meeting.
