Every Christian is a Saint
Yes, I know today is known as "Saint Patrick's Day". Actually, we do not know if Patrick was a "Saint"…as the Bible uses the word. But we do know who really is a saint…as the Bible uses the word. But we do know who really is a saint – anyone and everyone who has obeyed the gospel of Jesus Christ, as described in God's word in Romans 6:1-18 First, however, let's have a closer look at "Saint Patrick". Was he a saint? Well, that depends on who we ask.
If we ask Catholics they say, "Yes, he is to us. "If you as Protestants they say "not to us." Well, what is a saint anyway? Let's go to the Layman's Bible Encyclopedia, where we find: "Saint" – In the Bible this term is usually applied to the company of God's people, rather than to any single individual.
