Big fundraiser planned for Children's Coalition
Area residents will get a chance to sample local cuisine, art and wine and help raise money for the Children's Coalition for Northeast Louisiana during a special fundraiser next month.
Several community partners will come together to showcase the "people, cuisine, art and quality of life in northeast Louisiana" from Thursday, April 7 through Saturday, April 9.
"In the first event of this kind, area arts organizations, non-profits and businesses are joining forces to present an exciting weekend called NELA Ovation," said Michelle Herold with the Children's Coalition.
