WMPD honors officers at annual ceremony
The West Monroe Police Department recently held its fifth annual awards ceremony and recognized several members of the department.
The event held March 12 and was an opportunity to honor and acknowledge the men and women who are dedicated to making the city of West Monroe a safer place to live, work and play.
The following Officers were selected by their supervisors for their selfless service, dedication, superior work ethic and the positive attitude they bring to their daily duties: Detective Paul Blunschi, Cpl. Gina Walker, Officer Randy Davis and Cpl. Chance Brasiel.
Officer Randy Davis was selected as officer of the year.
