Crusaders head to Downsville tournament

The Claiborne Christian School Crusaders (1-2) are back on the baseball field Thursday when they participate in the Downsville Baseball Tournament at Downsville High School.

"It is still extremely early for us," CCS head coach Chad Olinde said. "Our pitching is not doing well like we need. Our hitters need to improve. Defense has been fine so far."

The Crusaders began their season playing in the Choudrant tournament last weekend and won their opening game against the Weston Wolves, 8-6.
