Hazardous waste recycling event set
Keep Ouachita Parish Beautiful will conduct its annual household hazardous waste collection event at the University of Louisiana-Monroe's Brown Stadium Saturday, April 2.
The event this year is sponsored by Dow Chemical Co. and ANGUS.
Kelby Neal, the event's project coordinator and board member of the Northeast Louisiana Green Team, said the event is open to all Ouachita Parish residents.
Participants must show proof of residency, such as a driver's license or water bill.
