Drainage, litter complaints surface again
For the third time in several months, a Ouachita Parish resident spoke to the Ouachita Parish Police Jury about drainage and trash concerns in southern Ouachita.
During Monday's regular Police Jury meeting, Donny Bright of Anita Drive urged Police Jurors to look into drainage and trash issues around Buckhorn Bend Road and the surrounding area.
Last month, two Buckhorn Bend Road residents told the Police Jury that trash continued to mount in their area causing severe drainage problems.
