Oodles of Noodles planning under way
Oodles of Noodles, a pasta cook-off to benefit Family Promise of Ouachita, will be held from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Saturday, April 9, at Parkview Baptist Church in Monroe.
Tickets are $10 per person, $20 per family or $10 for takeout. Attendees will sample the different pastas and vote for their favorite. Salad, bread and a drink is included.
Door prizes will be awarded and there will be activities for children. Entertainment will be provided, featuring live music by Big D & Good News Blues. Desserts and take-home sweets will be sold and a silent auction will be held.
