Lions baseball keeps improving The Ouachita Lions will return to the baseball field Thursday as they begin play in the Tioga High School Tournament. Ouachita is coming off a rough weekend hosting games in the Trey Altick Tournament. Ouachita went 0-3 in the tournament with losses to Benton, 4-2, Neville, 4-1, and Tioga, 9-4.
Despite the losses, head coach Brian Carter feels like any game experience is a chance to get better for his young Lions.
"We are so inexperienced at several positions," Carter said. "Every time we play we get better."
