Richwood squares off vs. Abbeville
The Richwood Rams advanced to the Louisiana High School Athletic Association Boys Top 28 for the sixth consecutive season with a 83-81 overtime win over the Green Oaks Giants last week.
Richwood will advance to play No. 5 Abbeville on Thursday at the Cajundome in Lafayette.
Richwood's Rickey Patrick sank a free throw with 19.5 seconds to give Richwood a two-point lead in the extra frame.
The extra time on the clock Green Oaks one last shot at tying or winning the game in regulation.
