No. 4 Neville falls short of Top 28 The Neville Tigers saw their dreams of qualifying for the Louisiana High School Athletic Association Top 28 basketball tournament end Friday with a 57-46 loss to Northside High School in Lafayette.
The fourth-ranked Tigers led most of the way. But in the fourth quarter, a 20-9 run by Northside propelled the home team to the semi-finals.
Neville controlled the tempo and the boards throughout the first half as 6-8 junior center Zay Henderson dominated the paint.
