Publication recognizes Monroe region
The Monroe-West Monroe region is now ranked fourth in the nation for economic development among metropolitan areas with populations of less than 200,000.
On Tuesday, local economic development representatives joined Monroe and West Monroe officials to announce the new ranking by Site Selection magazine.
Each year, Site Selection magazine calculates the top 10 metropolitan areas and the top 10 states in the nation.
