United Way honors 2010 contributors
The United Way of Northeast Louisiana raised more than $3 million during its most recent community fundraising campaign.
The organization held its "Celebrating Excellence" awards reception Monday where it honored outstanding employee campaigns and people who participated in them for their efforts in 2010.
Clyde White, 2010 campaign chairman, attributed the United Way's fundraising success to local businesses and their employees, local residents who contributed through United Way's leadership societies and efforts by the campaign volunteers.
