Saulters first to have jersey retired

The University of Louisiana-Monroe honored one of their greatest basketball players in school history Saturday night in a way not seen on the local campus before.

The ULM basketball program retired the jersey No. 12 in honor of Glynn Saulters at halftime of the conference game against the University of Louisiana-Lafayette. Saulters is the first player in school history to have his jersey retired.

"It was quite an honor," Saulters said. "I will cherish that moment for quite some time."
