For the second consecutive year, the "Wings of Freedom Tour" will touch down at Monroe Regional Airport to give local residents an opportunity to see historic World War II aircraft.
The historic plane tour will take place at the airport March 7-9 with public tours and flights available in three World War II aircraft.

The Chennault Military and Aviation Museum encourages local residents to take part in next month's Wings of Freedom Tour, which will feature three restored war birds Gen. Claire Chennault's Flying Tigers flew in World War II.

The "Wings of Freedom Tour" is conducted by The Collins Foundation, a non-profit organization based in Oregon. It was founded in 1947 to support transportation history exhibits.
