PAWS plans adoption event PAWS of Northeast Louisiana will help homeless animals find new homes Saturday, Feb. 26 during a special adoption event at Petco.
The event will be held from noon to 4 p.m.
Dogs and cats available for adoption are from the Ouachita Parish Animal Shelter and can be seen online at www.parishpets.petfinder.com.
The adoption fee is $60 for dogs and $50 for cats, which includes a spay/neuter certificate, de-wormer and basic vaccinations.
Anyone who comes by Petco during the offsite adoption can get one free pet ID tag and can purchase additional tags for $2 each.
