Many years ago, when I was fresh out of the Air Force and finishing my last year of college, I worked for Sears and Roebuck in sales.
I met and dealt with a lot of people. Many of my co-workers became close friends and we built a trust in our relationships.
For some reason I was having a difficult time one day, dealing with a customer. It was a situation I couldn't win because whatever I said I was wrong. The customer became obnoxious and belligerent and asked to talk with my manager.
