Webber welcomes funding Tuesday's announcement that Gov. Bobby Jindal will recommend the state's K-12 Minimum Foundation Program be fully funded in the 2011-2012 fiscal year budget was welcome news for Ouachita Parish Schools Superintendent Dr. Bob Webber.
That's because for the past two years, Ouachita Parish Schools has been operating with roughly less than $3 million each year because the MFP was not funded at levels public schools sought from the state.
