Smith nears retirement from technical college
Norene Smith, regional director of the Northeast Louisiana Technical College, will retire April 1 after 40 years of service.
The Region 8 Louisiana Community and Technical College's main campus is located in the West Ouachita Industrial Park.
The Louisiana Community and Technical College's board of supervisors recently honored Smith for her years of service to the system.
