Basketball playoffs begin
The Louisiana High School Athletic Association officially unveiled the 2011 girls basketball playoff brackets for all classifications on Monday with many area teams qualifying for the postseason.
In Class C, the Claiborne Christian School Lady Crusaders will host Hicks in the first round Thursday at 7 p.m.
The Lady Crusaders finished second in the district and will be the No. 16 seed in the playoffs while Hicks qualified as the No. 17 team.
