Lady Tigers advances in title hunt
As the Louisiana High School Athletic Association soccer playoffs advance to the semi-final round this weekend, the Neville Lady Tigers will be the local team advancing for a chance to play in the state championship game.
The Neville Lady Tigers defeated Lakeshore on Tuesday night to advance to a semi-final game at Vanderbilt Catholic on Friday.
The Lady Tigers' road to the state championship does not get any easier as they now face a Vanderbilt Catholic team that is ranked No. 1 in Division II soccer and has outscored opponents in the playoffs by a count of 16-1.
