Sterlington eyes District 2-2A championship

The Sterlington Panthers and Lady Panthers are back on the court for a District 2-2A double-header this week as they face the Mangham Dragons and Lady Dragons in a game that was rescheduled following the ice storm that blew through the region last week.

The Panthers have won 21 of their last 22 games and can wrap up the district championship with a win over the Dragons on Saturday.

The Panthers are coming off a 74-43 win against Lake Providence last week that kept the team atop the district standings.
