Calhoun gets his way on two road projects The Ouachita Parish Police Jury will use $135,000 of its own money in order to access some $225,000 in state monies to improve two roads in western Ouachita Parish.
The two roads the Police Jury wants to improve are Gary and Lilac streets, which are located in District B, represented by Police Juror Mack Calhoun.
