Moments in time take hostages

We spend a lot of moments in life either forgiving or not forgiving. Usually most of us have a hard time forgiving. We would rather expend our lifetime getting even. How many times have we heard someone say, "I can never forgive him/her for that."?

We do not employ much time thinking about the effects of our not forgiving someone. Forgiving someone or not forgiving someone is a matter of choice. A choice that we freely make.

We do not realize that the same people who we will not forgive are the people who are still controlling our lives, ever since the moment the event took place. Many times the incident occured many years ago. And yet, that precise moment in time is still holding us hostage.
