Funeral services for Loyd B. Duffey, Sr., 95, of Monroe, were held Sunday, Jan. 30, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, with Rev. Jerry T. Whitman officiating. Interment followed at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery.

Funeral services for Donna Belle Anna Hopkins, 59, were held Tuesday, Feb. 1 at Griffin Funeral Home of West Monroe. Interment followed at Serenity Gardens in Calhoun.
James D. Kelly M.D.
Funeral services for Dr. James D. Kelly, 95, of Monroe, were held Tuesday, Feb. 1, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, with Dr. Whit Holmes officiating. Interment followed at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery.
James H. Rainwater Jr.
Funeral services for James H. Rainwater, Jr., 81, of Sterlington were held Monday, Jan. 31, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home with Rev. Roger Johnson officiating. Interment followed at Greer Cemetery in Rayville.
James Edward Sinclair
Mr. James Sinclair, 77, of West Monroe, went to be with the Lord on Monday, Jan. 31, 2011, at home, peacefully ending his long, fierce battle with cancer.
He was born June 22, 1933. He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in the Korean War.
He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Sinclair and mother, Beulah Sinclair.
Survivors include his wife of almost 47 years, Donna Sinclair; son, Mark Sinclair; daughter, Lynn Walker; grandsons, Chris Walker, Stephen Walker, Nathan Walker; brother, Chester Sinclair; sisters, Lois Wolfe and Annie Smith; several nieces and nephews; numerous friends; and one God-daughter, Florine Simpson.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 3, 2011, at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Calhoun under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home in West Monroe. Visitation was 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Pallbearers are his son and grandsons.
He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. The family wishes to acknowledge and thank all the home health caregivers and Compassus Hospice for their care with support and friendship during this time.
Memorial donations may be made to the daughter to help pay funeral expenses.
