The Junior League of Monroe, Inc. is currently taking applications from qualifying non-profits for its $10,000 Community Endowment Fund Grant. All non-profits are eligible to apply. Proceeds must be used within Ouachita Parish and must further the Junior League's purpose of building a better community. All applications must meet the requirements set forth in the grant application.

The Community Endowment Fund was developed as a means of providing financial support to other non-profits in the community. The Fund is supported through League fundraisers such as the annual "Spring Market" as well as through sales of the League's cookbooks. The grant allows the League to support important community endeavors, particularly in difficult economic times where such funds are increasingly sparse.
