Worley becomes the centerpiece at CCS

As football scholarships and other fall sport athletes begin to sign scholarship papers this week, a local basketball prospect may be flying under the radar of local colleges despite flying through and around opposing defenses for years.

Kristin Worley, a senior guard at Claiborne Christian School in West Monroe, has been putting up big numbers ever since debuting on the varsity basketball team as a fifth-grader in 2003.

Flying off the radar may certainly change drastically later this month when Worley represents the area in the LHSAA All-Star basketball game later this year.
