Mustangs play waiting game for postseason
The River Oaks Mustangs and Lady Mustangs have wrapped up their regular season schedules and will now wait to find out this weekend who they will meet in the first round of the Mississippi Association of Independent Schools South State Tournament.
The tournament will begin Monday in Columbia, Miss.
The Mustangs will receive a bye because of claiming yet another district championship last week following a 46-38 win over CENLA Christian School.
The top teams in each tournament will advance to the overall State tournament to be played among the top 12 teams in the MAIS.
