Local players head to next level Several local athletes from across Ouachita Parish inked college athletic scholarships Wednesday as they look toward their futures.
At West Monroe High School, five Rebels signed scholarship papers. Quarterback Paul Turner the MVP of the Class 5A state championship game in 2009, signed with the Louisiana State University Tigers.
