Council taps Kentucky firm for water meter project The Monroe City Council finally selected a company for its roughly $7 million automated water meter reading project, but the decision was not without controversy.
For the majority of Tuesday's regular City Council meeting, city officials discussed the project, which the city has worked to implement for several years.
