Resident complains about roaming dogs One Ouachita Parish woman wants the parish to do a better job in enforcing its leash law due to persistent threats from neighborhood dogs.
Jessie Wilson said there are Pit Bulls, Rottweilers and other dogs roaming her neighborhood, which is near Shady Grove Elementary School. Some have tried to attack her family on different occasions.
"I have called the police several times and nothing was done," Wilson said. "I was very persistent on Jan. 18 when this particular Rottweiler tried to attack me. It took me three phone calls to the Sheriff's Office and three phone calls to the dog catcher before they came out. They finally took two away." .....For the full story, subscribe to the The Ouachita Citizen's NEW E-Edition! |
