Attorney Percy Ford spoke to members of the Cultura Book Club at the January meeting held in the West Monroe home of Sue Greer. Mr. Ford provided members with invaluable information concerning wills, successions, and other legal issues of interest to senior adults.

He also answered members' questions on various topics such as the need for power of attorney and having an executor. He emphasized that if these issues are addressed prior to the death of a loved one, it often eliminates stress and disagreements at a later time. His informative presentation was enjoyed by all.

After a short business meeting, members enjoyed coffee and dessert served by the hostesses, Sue Greer, Barbara Ewing and Betty Stimac. Other members in attendance included Linda Armstrong, Annette Bedgood, Montez Branch, Emma Burkett, Gloria Camp, Sue Drewett, Pat Funderburk, Jean Halsell, Peggy Henderson, Angie Jones, Kitty Liner, Pat McClendon, Vivian Muckleroy, Betty Oxford, Mary Reed, Jean Rugg, Clara Sikes, Susie Sikes, Pat Valentine, Edwina Welch and Loyce Whitlock.
