New Sterlington school to open in late February
Officials with Ouachita Parish Schools expect the new Sterlington Elementary School to be ready to move into by the end of February.
Teachers are scheduled to begin moving into their new classrooms sometime in late February. It has not been determined when students will begin classes in their new school.
School officials had hoped to have the new Sterlington Elementary School ready for students by the start of the second semester when they returned from the Christmas break.
