Strauss presents Snow White
Strauss Theatre presents The Louisiana Players Guild's Original production of Snow White on Jan. 28-30.
This production is an original musical adaptation of the traditional story set in the Dark Ages of Germany. It combines elements of the Brother's Grimm, early folk tales, Norse, and Gothic German culture and even some modern retelling of the story.
Performed as a rock musical, it uses many popular classic rock songs and some original scoring by local band "Shepherd's Pie", who provides musical assistance for the show.
