Kostelka: 2011 'year from hell' for legislators

In a few months the Legislature will begin the task of redrawing state legislative and congressional district lines, a job Sen. Bob Kostelka says won't be easy.

Kostelka, R-Monroe, talked about reapportionment and redistricting Wednesday at a luncheon hosted by the West Monroe/West Ouachita Chamber of Commerce. It was held at the West Monroe Convention Center.

The Legislature will meet beginning March 20 to consider plans for redrawing the state's legislative and congressional district lines. The special session will last until no later than April 13 unless a plan is approved before that date.
