Rams, C-Dogs renew rivalry
One of the area's most storied basketball rivalries will be renewed Friday night when the Carroll Bulldogs (12-5) host the Richwood Rams (14-5) at "The Dog Pound" in Monroe.
The teams are on decidedly different paths this season after they ended the 2010 season at the Cajundome in Lafayette where Carroll defeated Richwood to advance to the 2010 Class 3A state championship game. Carroll lost the title to Vidalia two days later.
This season, Carroll has struggled to stay consistent with a young team that is led by a handful of seniors such as guard Xavier Lee.
