Economy top concern for Mayo Monroe Mayor Jamie Mayo anticipates 2011 will evolve into another stellar year for the city of Monroe as city leaders already have their sights set on several projects that could prove beneficial to the city.
Over the course of 2011, Mayo said his administration will continue working on the city's six major focus areas. Those focus areas include economic development, marketing the city, public safety, housing and growth, beautification and partnerships in education.
