Whatever happened to God, goodness?
 When watching any of the major channels…ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX...what do we see and hear? Once upon a time in this "Christian" nation of our, God held a special, respected, and honorable place in our lives. "In God We Trust" is on every piece of our money. We hold one hand on the Bible and raise the other hand to make the most binding oath in our legal system, with the verbal commitment, "So help me God."
Today, though, is different. For example, Just the other day, we were watching one of those programs about re-doing a house…fighting a deadline to have it all finished before the owners got there.
When they arrived and opened the door, I counted the woman crying out, "O my God," five times in the first minute. Yes, I know…I can hear someone reading this say, "What's wrong with that?" Get this: God Himself tells us "what's wrong." In fact, He tells us, "Thou shalt not take the name of Jehovah, they God, in vain: for Jehovah will not hold him guiltless who misuses his name" (Deuteronomy 5:11)
