Former Richwood Mayor Ed Harris, who was convicted in October on one count of malfeasance in office, will be formally sentenced next month.

Harris was scheduled to be sentenced in 4th Judicial District Court Friday, Dec. 17, but sentencing was postponed until Jan. 24.

In October, a six-person Ouachita Parish jury found Harris guilty of one count of malfeasance in office.
